Acting as Jayson Tatum’s first signature silhouette, the Jordan Tatum 1 “Wave Runner” boasts a mix-constructed upper, this particular release dipped in neon hues of “Lagoon Pulse,” “Pink Blast,” “Psychic Purple,” and “Lime Glow” inspired from his family’s water-based trips, giving it a vibrant Miami’s South Beach vibe.

The vacation theme is beautifully enhanced with palm tree graphics gracing the “JT” branded tongues. Adding a personal touch, Tatum’s number “O” and signature grace the heel tabs, while a clean White rubber sole completes the look.

In terms of specs, the lightweight basketball shoe boasts a reinforced TPU frame and an uncaged Zoom Air unit to provide energy return.

The Tatum 1, Jayson Tatum’s first signature shoe, is the lightest performance shoe in Jordan Brand’s performance line this season.

The Tatum 1 was born out of Tatum’s desire to wear a shoe that felt more connected to his foot. Built out of a lightweight, strong TPU frame, the shoe is wrapped by a ground-contact foam that also acts as an integrated traction pattern, with minimal rubber on the toe and ball of the foot for Tatum’s predominantly forefoot game.

This detail allowed designers to cut back on the weight of the shoe while also providing tight court feel. A large, uncaged Zoom Air bag in the forefoot helps provide high energy return without sacrificing court feel. The mesh knit upper is strong yet lightweight, while the collar is padded for ankle support.
