Jordan Brand paid tribute to MJ’s arrival to the NBA by releasing the Jordan 1 Retro High New Beginnings Pack, now available on StockX. This silhouette follows the original high ankle design that released in 1985.
This Jordan 1 Retro High is composed of a white leather upper with red overlays. A white midsole, red outsole, and black Jordan Wings branding on the ankle completes the design. These sneakers released in February of 2020 as part of the New Beginnings Pack and retailed for $350.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High ’85 OG ‘New Beginnings’ is drawn from a two-piece pack that also includes the Nike Air Ship PE, bringing together the two silhouettes that Michael Jordan wore at the start of his NBA career. Recrafted in its original form, the Air Jordan 1 carries an all-leather upper with a white base and contrasting red overlays. Traditional details include a woven Nike tag on the nylon tongue and a Jordan Wings logo on the lateral collar flap.
